Preschool

Our ministry is Bible-based and designed to meet the developmental needs and characteristics of preschoolers from birth through age five.
Our scopes of learning are: God, Jesus, Bible, Church, Family, Others, Self,
and Natural World. We strive to involve the children, depending on their ages,
in various creative activities. We offer preschool classes at 8:15,
9:30, and 11:00am for every stage of your child’s development.
First Time Visitors
Sherry Barnes | 850.476.2233 | sbarnes@hillcrestchurch.com
The Preschool Ministry is for all children from newborns up through age 5 and is available during all worship gatherings. It is our desire to come alongside parents in nurturing the faith of their children. Our responsibility is to model and teach Biblical truth in prayer, God-centered storytelling and worship.
What to Expect- We have parking especially designated for Preschool parents and First Time Visitors, located directly in front of the Generations Building. When you first arrive please come to the Preschool Desk. We will ask you to fill out a brief Registration Form. In order to ensure safety we have a check-in/out system that is photo and finger scan based. Doors to the Garden will open 15 minutes before each service. You will want to arrive a couple minutes prior. We know that leaving your child for the first time can be overwhelming. We offer pagers with text messaging capability, which provides more information than traditional vibrating pagers. All of our volunteers have completed a background screening.
Life Groups | Sundays | 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00am
Infants, Crawlers, New Walkers (12-17mo.), Toddlers (18-24mo.), Two’s, Three’s,

Sunday mornings to build friendships and learn about God’s love.

Based on II Timothy 2:15, we believe that “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.” We strive to equip preschoolers with the Word of God through application and memorization of Scripture.
Baby Dedication
CONGRATULATIONS on the birth of your new baby! In the midst of all that is changing in your home with the addition of your new baby, we invite you to take a moment to focus on what really matters most.
No one will have more influence on your child than YOU! We believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church. It is our hope that we can partner with you from the beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
We believe it is important to take some time in the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child; to really talk together and decide what you can do today that will have the greatest impact on your child’s future.
The Process- In order to participate in a Baby Dedication, you must either be a member of our church, a member of a Life Group or Home Group, or serving with us as a volunteer on one of our ministry teams. We feel like these criterion are important as a first step for you as parents to understand what we believe and for us to truly be able to partner with you in the spiritual development of your child.
