Child & Parent Registration

In preperation for our new check-in/security system we are launching for our children’s ministries, we are asking parents to pre-register their families. This will help the launch go smoothly and avoid having to wait in lines to register. If you have not already sent in a paper registration, please complete the for here: Child & Parent Registration.

Sunday Mornings

Children’s Life Groups | 8:15, 9:30 & 11:00am | Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Sunday mornings are a great opportunity for kids to connect in small groups. It is our desire that all kids learn three basic ideas through a consistent time together in God’s Word:

  • 8:15a
    K-1 Life Groups | G101
    2-5 Life Groups | G210
  • 9:30a
K-3 Kidzone | Children’s Attic | Kindergarten-Grade 3 meet in the Attic, our children’s arena for a time of worship and Bible study, then move to small groups.
Grade 4 and 5 | Join one of our Life Groups. Inquire at the Upstreet Control Desk.
  • 11:00a
Children K-5 have a large group time in the Attic, followed by Life Groups in the classrooms.

Family Experience | Monthly | 6:00p

The Family eXperience is a monthly time of shared family worship throughout the school year where kids take their parents to learn!  Biblical virtues that we teach in Life Groups are introduced through Bible stories, music, drama, creative movement, and video presentations.

What Is AWANA:

Based on II Timothy 2:15, we believe that “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.” We strive to equip children with the Word of God through application and memorization of Scripture.

  • Clear, consistent presentation of the gospel
  • Bible memory – our cornerstone
  • Circle games exclusive to Awana
  • A fun approach to learning God’s Word
  • The church leaders of tomorrow trained to serve today
  • Evangelistic focus designed to reach unchurched children and their families

Activities Include:

  • Award Ceremonies
  • Handbook Time
  • Game Time
  • Ministry Projects
  • Missions Awareness

Uniforms and handbooks are earned by first completing an entrance booklet.  Children
also participate in missions awareness and projects throughout the school year.  We welcome visitors who want to learn more about our program.  Parents are encouraged to volunteer.  Training is easy and the rewards are great.
